For visitors with visual impairments, the museum offers audio guides with audio description in Portuguese, and assistance by staff if required. The museum also welcomes guide dogs.

The museum’s website is fully compliant with Portuguese law (Decreto-Lei n.º 83/2018) regarding accessibility of websites and mobile applications. It has been awarded the Prata (“Silver”) Seal of Usability and Accessibility by the Portuguese Agency for Administrative Modernization (AMA) for high standards of web accessibility.
