The House of Disabled People’s Organisations in Høje Taastrup (Denmark) is recognised as the world’s most accessible office building. Developed in close dialogue with persons with disabilities, it integrates step-free access, adaptable workstations, advanced acoustic and lighting systems, and intuitive wayfinding. The building functions both as workplace and as a flagship example of large-scale universal design in practice.

It also hosts the Inclusive Tech Lab, a facility where new assistive technologies are tested, demonstrated, and co-created with end users. The lab operates in partnership with technology companies and accessibility organisations, strengthening collaboration between industry and civil society and driving innovation in inclusive solutions.
