In June 2019, the municipality of Bratislava - Petržalka opened the gates of the first inclusive playground for all children. The playground on Blagoevova Street does not exclude anyone and all children can use it. The playground features a swing also for child in a wheelchair, a swing with straps, a nest swing, an inclusive carousel, an elevated sandpit, an accessible trampoline, elements for developing motor skills, a basketball hoop, a reflective path for bare feet, multi-sensory play elements for children with disabilities and furniture adapted for people with disabilities.

The project worth more than 100,000 euros was financed by the city district from its budget, following the initiative from several local politicians and NGOs. The purpose of the project was to expand and improve the quality of services for people with physical and mental disabilities, to support families who are limited by barriers and prejudices in everyday life. The municipality also supports the proposal to install one accessible play element (suitable for children in wheelchairs) on each playground.
