The article focuses on customer accessibility of the bank sector. Explains what consequences and requirements CRPD and the European Accessibility Act are regarding to the area. The article describes in details the relevant legislation issues for consumers with accessibility needs in services in the financial sector.
Then turns to real implementation issues, such as the "recommendation of the Hungarian National Bank" (CXXXIX. law). The article analyses how the principles can be turned into real assistive products and services. One conclusion is that in these rapidly changing digital environment an act can be out of time by the time it enters into force. The author's suggestion is a regularly refreshed officially published comment about the implementation of the principles stated in the European Accessibility Act with a FAQ chapter.
