Description
This guide was designed to allow gymnasium designers and managers, elected officials, heads of sports service, state service in charge of sports to progress the idea to carry out a new-build or renovation project for a multi-sport gymnasium.
This guide is divided into three steps.
The first is mainly aimed at beginners as well as all those who need to mobilise services and partners to make them aware of the interest and dimension of such a project.
The second step allows you to design a project in its entirety, by having the information that will allows the designer to tighten their priorities for practices relating to persons with disabilities, based on the best practices we have identified.
Although designed to complete each of the necessary steps-linked to the implementation of a policy dedicated to inclusion of people with disabilities within a structure, a linear reading of the guide is not necessary.
Directors, department heads, referents and trainers are invited to navigate from one part to another based on their level of commitment and specific expectations.
