In the conference proceedings, the speakers highlight the diversity of cycling. It's about cycling as the key to mobility for everyone, i.e. taking many target groups into account in cycling planning.
The cycling network and the cycling infrastructure as well as the cycling offers for everyone must be planned. It is important to ensure accessibility and network transparency and to provide cyclists with attractive secondary routes in addition to the often well-known main routes along main roads through good navigation and to ensure availability almost everywhere using rental systems, including in rural areas.
It shows what typical conflicts involving cyclists are, what causes them and how they can be defused. And last but not least, campaigns help to bring cycling into people's minds and hearts.
