People with multiple sclerosis in social media - Funkcjonowanie w mediach społecznościowych osób niepełnosprawnych chorych na stwardnienie rozsiane

The popularity of social media creates completely new opportunities for establishing social relations. The article describes the results of research carried out in Poland in 2015– –2016 regarding the use of the Internet by disabled people with multiple sclerosis.

The research presents limitations in social relations of people with limited mobility and indicates factors that may increase the level of absorption of modern technologies in this group. Fuller use of the opportunities created by social media can improve the quality of life of people with disabilities, both in the area of private and professional life.
