Description

This publication illustrates Title IV of the Brussels legislation on accessibility of buildings for persons with reduced mobility (PRMs). In the Brussels-Capital Region, all new buildings open to the public must be accessible, as well as those undergoing major renovation. This guide helps architects understand the standards and find illustrative plans.

Despite its date of publication, the document is still up-to-date and very useful. The accessibility standards illustrated are: pathways, doors (entrance and interior), interior and exterior circulation, equipment, PRM rooms, changing rooms, showers, etc., as well as the PRM quotas to be respected for each type of equipment.
