The primary objective of this systematic literature review is to critically evaluate the existing research on the concept of perceived accessibility in public transportation and its impact on user travel behaviour.

This article also acknowledges how conventional accessibility differs from perceived accessibility and seeks to shed light on the factors that influence perceptions of accessibility and how these perceptions translate into actual travel choices.

This review also helps to identify the research gaps and further guide the advancement of perceived accessibility. Ultimately contributes to a deeper understanding of perceived accessibility and user behaviour in public transportation contexts.
Accessibility is a well-known and fundamental notion in planning, representing the ease with which individuals who can reach desirable locations such as services, establishment zones and recreational activities.
