Participants will be presented with the principles of universal design for learning, as well as other approaches and good practices when it comes to building an inclusive environment at a higher education institution.
Staff week is open both to academics and non-academics interested in any of these topics: inclusive education, assistive technologies, inclusive mobility, support of students with special needs in the EU and Czechia, services for students with dyslexia, psychological disorders, autism spectrum disorder, services for students with sensory impairment (visual, hearing, mobility), language courses for students with special needs, braille encoding, tactile printing, hybrid books, sign language in higher education, special math, etc.
