AccessibleEU Denmark - Meeting the European Accessibility Act in Practice (25-NW-DK-01)

The European Accessibility Act (EAA) has officially come into force - but what does that really mean for Danish businesses and service providers?

This AccessibleEU event brings together experts, authorities, and industry representatives to clarify what lies ahead and what organisations can do to live up to the new requirements.

Beyond explaining the legal obligations, the event sheds light on how monitoring and enforcement are expected to work in practice - helping business owners and compliance leads understand what to expect from national authorities. At the same time, the focus goes beyond compliance alone. Participants will explore how accessibility can drive innovation, better customer experiences, and stronger brands.

There will also be plenty of time to network with others from your industry, meet accessibility experts, and discuss how the EAA can be turned into a shared opportunity for growth and inclusion.
The event takes place in Handicaporganisationernes Hus in Taastrup - recognised as the world's most accessible office building - creating an excellent setting for a day dedicated to accessibility in action.

By connecting companies, regulators, and disability organisations, AccessibleEU aims to build shared understanding and strengthen collaboration - ensuring that the transition to the EAA not only meets the legal standard, but also creates lasting value for consumers and businesses alike.
