AccessibleEU Hungary - Steps, questions and opportunities (24-AW-HU-01)

This AccessibleEU Awareness-raising event will discuss the latest developments and upcoming changes in Hungary regarding accessibility of buildings.

The Act C of 2023 on Hungarian architecture and its accompanying set of government decrees come into force on January 1st, 2025, resulting in new division of responsibilities and duties for the design and  the construction phases of projects. This means that designers, architects, engineers, public authorities and professionals from the construction sector all need to understand and adapt to their new role. In parallel, DPO’s also need to be prepared for these new challenges.

During this event, participants will receive up to date knowledge about the legislative changes and supporting strategies for their advocacy work, with the goal to have DPOs agree on an action plan to be accepted by all participants.
