AccessibleEU, the Centre for Excellence in Universal Design (CEUD) at the National Disability Authority (NDA), The Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) and Age Friendly Ireland, the Irish Council for Social housing (ICSH) are pleased to offer this one-day Conference entitled ‘Universally Designed Homes: Housing for All’.
Together we shall explore and discuss solutions for the delivery of enhanced homes that enable people with disabilities to live independently, in homes that meet their needs in accordance with national policy, and universal home design guidelines.
Objectives:
• Raise awareness of the importance of Universal Design in creating homes that are accessible, adaptable, safe, and welcoming for people of all ages and abilities,
• To drive forward a national conversation on inclusive housing policy and development.
