This AccessibleEU event organised in collaboration with the Latvia Alzheimer’s Association and the Association of Disabled Persons and their Friends ‘Apeirons’, aims to raise awareness among society, including policymakers, service providers, and professionals, about how to better support people with dementia and other cognitive disorders.
Broadly defined accessibility plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for these individuals - encompassing access to services, information, the built environment, and transportation.
