AccessibleEU Luxembourg -Accessibility: Good intentions are not enough (25-WS-LU-01)

The implementation of the European Accessibility Act has led to the creation of the “Office for Surveillance of the Accessibility of Products and Services (OSAPS)".

The OSAPS was officially presented at a press conference shortly before the first session of this AccessibleEU workshop held on June 30. Together with the “Accessibility Unit” of the Ministry for Family Affairs, Solidarity, Living Together, and Reception of Refugees MFSVA, OSAPS will monitor the respect of the national accessibility legislation.

To do so, their mission includes guidance, control and sanctioning in their respective fields of competence.

The aim of this second AccessibleEU session of the workshop is to explain how users can benefit from the missions of OSAPS and MFSVA and how they can be actively involved in supporting a best possible implementation of accessibility at national level.
