Organised by the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Slovak University of Technology, EIDD Design for All Europe and AccessibleEU, this event focuses on how lack of accessibility creates exclusion while accessibility creates opportunities.
It will present policies, initiatives, standards, and case studies of inclusive solutions from Europe through built environment and services for all citizens to create inclusive cities.
It will include the presentation of the AccessibleEU project, aiming to raise awareness on the project and attract potential members to become part of the platform's community. The project’s objectives and values will be explained by Jesús Hernández Galán, Project Leader AccessibleEU, Director of Accessibility and Innovation.
This conference is the final event of the national project Support for Universal Design (PUN), which is implemented thanks to the support from the European Social Fund and the European Regional Development Fund within the Operational Program Human Resources.
