The aim of the workshop is to teach students in the first year of “computer programming” and “media communication” at the University in Maribor, how to enable and monitor accessibility using WCAG and ENSI EN 301 549 standard.

The purpose of the presentation is to show: the characteristics and needs of persons with various forms of disability; the content of Slovenian laws and the work of inspections; the content of the required standards; the basic recommendations of the WCAG; ways to verify websites, mobile applications and digital products and basic design guidelines for successful accessibility.
