In this way the third Slovenian workshop "Digital inclusion in the information society - DIGIN" will be held in hybrid format, organised by the European Accessibility Resource Centre – AccessibleEU in cooperation with the Slovenian multiconference “Information Society”. The theme focuses on what truly defines digitalisation: its power to connect and include. This year’s theme – How technology and artificial intelligence can become tools for equality rather than new sources of exclusion – is not just a technical question, but a deeply social one.
In an era where artificial intelligence, smart services, and automation are shaping our future, the key question is: how can we ensure that this future is accessible to everyone? How can we develop digital solutions that are designed to be inclusive from the outset? And how can we learn from crisis, such as the pandemic, to move toward fairer and more accessible digital environments?
