In a time of rapid development of artificial intelligence, automated systems and advanced digital services, a key question is how to ensure that digital innovations are designed and developed in ways that take into account the diversity of users and prevent the emergence of new forms of digital exclusion.
This event, jointly organised with AccessibleEU, the University of Maribor and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, pays special attention to exploring approaches to inclusive design, the accessibility of digital services, the role of assistive technologies, and the broader social, ethical, and pedagogical dimensions of digitalization. Such an approach requires interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers, educators, technology developers, policymakers, and other stakeholders whose expertise contributes to the development of a more accessible and inclusive digital environment.
