EBU publishes recommendations for enhancing the accessibility of payment terminals

To-date, the solutions developed for completing transactions with payment terminals still lack accessibility features adapted to the needs of blind and partially sighted people. Against that background, the European Blind Union (EBU) has drafted a series of recommendations for these tools to be designed in a more inclusive way for visually impaired users. 

The paper is available for consultation on EBU’s website, in both PDF and Word. 

EBU will use this document to start a conversation with payment terminals manufacturers.
