Starting January 1, 2025, all default European harmonised standards (hEN) and standards exclusively incorporated into Slovenian legislation are available free of charge. This initiative, launched by the Slovenian Institute for Standardization (SIST) with the financial support of the Ministry of Economy, Tourism, and Sport, who is dedicated to enhancing economic competitiveness and supporting other standards users, is a significant step forward to boost competitiveness and development.

Free access to vital standards will drive innovation, simplify regulatory compliance, and reduce costs for businesses and other users. This initiative represents a significant advancement for the Slovenian economy and inclusive development.

Standards mandated by legislation, identified with the note “must be used,” along with hEN standards, will be accessible through the SIST online store. To order these standards, simply select "bank transfer" as the payment method and send order confirmation to the email address: prodajasist [dot] si (prodaja[at]sist[dot]si). SIST will then provide access at no cost.

• No invoice issued. Users will only receive confirmation of access to the requested standards.
