AccessibleEU is launching a new course on Introduction to Accessibility of the Built Environment. It consists of 9 modules where students will learn about the principles of design for all, common barriers and how to solve them, the social economic benefits as well as the diversity of users. The course also teaches about accessibility related legislation, procurement, and available accessibility tools.
The target group is people interested in learning about accessible built environment, and professionals such as: architects, engineers, interior designers, professors, public administration officials, and policy makers, among others.
This course will be open on the AccessibleEU online campus from Monday, 11 November, to Sunday, 22 December, with an estimated dedication time of 30 hours. It is imparted in English and there will be no live sessions, which means that everyone can complete it at their own pace.
