Spain’s Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030 has launched the II National Universal Accessibility Plan: Spain, an accessible country. The Plan offers a set of guidelines that aim to help the Spanish State to comply fully with the mandates of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

It also provides continuity to a political and budgetary commitment derived from the Transformation, Recovery and Resilience Plan (TRRP) to make Europe more inclusive. The TRRP has allowed Spain to allocate about EUR 200 million to transform the landscape to make it more practical to all citizens without distinction and to expand rights in area such as public services, housing, education, healthcare or culture.
