- Cyprus Organisation for Standardisation (CYS)
CYS has created the Standardization Advisory Committee (SAC). This Committee has been created by the CYS Board, it is chaired by the CYS Director General, and it is composed by representatives of societal stakeholders, including the Cyprus Confederation of Organizations of the Disabled (KYSOA).
CYS is committed in developing a standardisation system that is equitable, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of all members of society, therefore the purpose of this committee, is to collect the positions and suggestions of all societal stakeholders regarding high level policy issues of standardisation and horizontal matters, related to both the National and European landscape.
Additionally, organisations for the disabled are represented in the CYS National Technical & Mirror committees and can also participate in the European and International Standardization work through special arrangements.
