Establishment of MEFS - Parasport committee - Hungary

The Hungarian University and Sports Association is the association of all universities and university sports clubs. Its main activity is the organization and implementation of international university sports events and related events held at the domestic level.

The Parasports Committee, established this year, aims to achieve the inclusivity of university sports life. Disabled students are provided with the opportunity to participate in all relevant sports, thus creating the tradition of domestic university parasports competitions, as well as participation in international parasports events.

The process entails access monitoring and making sports facilities and related info communication tools and content accessible.

Due to the great interest in sports events, the parallel appearance of parasports can convey to many people the importance of social integration and rise awareness about accessible environments.
