The Fondation EME is committed to inclusion. Through the diversity of its programms and participating musicians, it aims to include people in need in Luxembourg's cultural life.
On the one hand, we are expanding the range of cultural activities in social organisations. On the other hand, we are committed to making the cultural and musical landscape in Luxembourg accessible to those who are otherwise often excluded from it.
The large variety of activities include a huge number of different participants, like people with special needs, elderly people, disadvantaged people, people with a medical condition.
A series of activities is described on the foundation’s Website, like a dance workshop at the central hospical in Luxembourg City, the Wesch Side Story, …
At the networking event on 12/13.07.2024 in Luxembourg-City, co-financed by AccessibleEU, EME was present at the opening and the closure ceremonies with a choir of singers with and without disabilities. For the event, the scene had been made accessible with a special elevating platform so to allow all singers, including those in wheelchairs, to be at the same level.
