The publication sets a national framework within further and higher education on applying a systems approach to deliver a Universally Designed Education for all students. The publication also sets out the 10 key requirements that an educational institution requires in creating an integrated, inclusive environment for all by applying the European Standard EN: 17161:2019. This is a European process standard about using a Universal Design approach at all levels in organisations to continuously improve and address the accessibility and usability of the products and services institutions provide.
