The goal of “Funk-IT Lyftet” is to increase digital competence in society - especially for people who find it difficult to adopt modern technology, due to disability or other challenges.
An initial needs inventory showed that large parts of the target group had difficulties in contacting authorities, using mobile phones and computers and managing their everyday finances.
Funk-IT Lyftet developed a large number of courses that help users get started with modern technology. The course topics reflect the needs of the target groups:
- Use email.
- Daily life (including shopping for food online).
- Travel (such as buying bus tickets).
- How to use digital identification systems.
- Internet banking and mobile payment system (Swish).
- How to find information on authorities' websites.
- Communication (including video calls with various apps).
- How to download an app.
- How to find news and culture.
All courses are available as Powerpoint, PDF and Youtube videos (with audio description).
