Hiking with a wheelchair is a big challenge. Wheelchair users also like to get to places that cannot be reached on an accessible road, but are between rocks, on steep roads, etc.
The Hungarian Hiking Organization created a collection with wheelchair-accessible routes of varying difficulty close to nature with detailed descriptions and lots of photos. There are some for which both the person using the wheelchair and their companion must be experienced hikers. In the descriptions, they always cover what equipment is recommended to take with for the tour, what ground conditions to expect, whether an escort is needed, whether there is an accessible toilet, how to approach the starting point.
The tour descriptions are written by authors who are wheelchair users and were hiking the routes themselves, so they can authentically recommend them to others.
There are now 28 tours on the list, but it is constantly growing. Next to the description of each hiking route, there are comments that can be written by those who have been on the tour. The tours can be searched in a list or in the map.
