The Human Help Centre in Trnava is a pilot project of the Trnava Charity aimed at helping people in need. The building is located in the heritage protected zone of the historical city centre. The complex renovation, including accessibility adaptations, was designed by studio arsa architekti (Peter Seidl, Blanka Seidlová, Dominik Seidl, Eva Seidlová, Sára Mária Seidlová) and completed in 2023. The building was nominated for the CE ZA AR 2024 Architecture Award of the Slovak Chamber of Architects.

This low-threshold day centre provides ambulatory form of service provision (distribution of food and clothing, personal hygiene, treatment, counselling...), so accommodation is not part of these services. The services provided are easily accessible and free of charge for recipients.

Spatial zoning became an important element based on experience with the specifics of social work with homeless people. The client zone is oriented in the eastern part and is reinforced by external sheltered spaces, which reflects the specific sociological and psychological needs of homeless people. Sufficient natural light in the interior (flowing both horizontally and vertically) reduces the barrier of mistrust among homeless people when entering a defined and bounded space. The client zone is followed by workplaces and the movement of the charity's employees is oriented in the western part. In the employment zone, emphasis was placed on safety, practicality, and long-term sustainability of the quality of work regarding mental health.

From the point of view of accessibility, new vertical cores were added, including elevators, and accessible washrooms and toilets were also created. All areas are accessible, including areas for employees.
