The multi-sensory park is located on Jarun Park which has a lake and an Olympic rowing track. This is the first such park in Croatia. It is about the fact that it is adapted to the needs of blind and partially sighted people, as well as people with disabilities.
There are certain plants in the park that affect the senses. In addition, the main part of the park are sculptures that show the direction or tactile stimulus. Park users are in contact with plants, so plants can affect smell, taste, touch, smell and hearing. All the plants found in the park have a certain significance, i.e. they have an impact on a certain sensory stimulus, such as the structure of the leaf or bark (touch), a specific smell, recognizable and edible fruits, the sound of leaves (hearing) and the like.
Everything in the park, names of plants, inscriptions, devices and objects, are marked in Braille. The paths are wide enough for two wheelchairs to pass and pass, and the areas with tactile tables and garden chess for the blind are also wide enough for two visually impaired people to pass.
