The National Museum – Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania ensures physical, sensory and informational accessibility for all visitors. The museum is equipped with lifts, elevators, accessible toilets and spacious pathways for visitors with mobility impairments.
The exhibitions include tactile relief images and Braille information for visitors with visual impairments. The museum also provides “quiet hours” for visitors with sensory sensitivities and welcomes certified guide dogs assisting people with disabilities.
The museum’s Website offers accessibility features including WCAG2.1 A, A+ and A++ versions, as well as “Easy Reading” text and Lithuanian Sign Language (videos). These measures, altogether, ensure that everyone can experience Lithuania’s cultural heritage in an inclusive environment.
