The new building of the Ruđer Bošković Regional Competence Center in Zagreb - Croatia

The new building of the Ruđer Bošković Regional Center of Competence was completed in the spring of 2024 with the issuance of the Operating Permit.

The building with a total gross area of 1,875 m2 is an addition to the existing building complex of the High School of Electrical Engineering.

The authors of the architecture are: Prof. art Ljubomir Miščević, M. Arch. and associate author Mark Miščević, Mag. Eng. Arch.

Special emphasis in the project was placed on accessibility for people with reduced mobility and other disabilities. 

The building is equipped with an accessible elevator and accessible toilets, which will be used not only for the needs of the new building, but also for the needs of the existing part of the school.

On the second floor of the building are accommodation spaces (academis) and a restaurant. Inside the academy, one room is designed as accessible with an accessible bathroom.
