The area of the artificial lake Bundek and its surroundings is located in the central area of the capital city of Zagreb. It is a public city park of the highest level of nature protection. The special feature is the possibility of using the larger lake for swimming, while the smaller lake is protected due to the flora and fauna that has been naturally created over the decades. There is a pontoon stage on the lake, and the amphitheater auditorium for 1,500 people is used as a sunbathing area in the summer season.

All communication elements of accessibility are satisfied. From exemplary parking spaces and sanitary blocks, showers and concrete grills, to specially designed ramps for accessible entry into the water and access to the auditorium with the possibility of accessing flexible hinged ramps for access to the pontoon regardless of the water level.

The building Sunny that was designed as pilot project and Becon example of the European Union project PassREg of advanced high energy efficiency architecture as the first town photo voltaic plant was at the same time designed as a pilot project with advanced accessible innovation design is still not realised. The author of the all project is architect Ljubomir Miščević.

The project of the Bundek Park is implemented in stages, so it is not yet fully completed. But in the meantime, smaller additional facilities such as a sensory park are being built.

The sensory park on Bundek in Zagreb is an example of accessibility in the area of recreation and free time, where visitors can see, touch and taste plants and fruits. All objects, devices as well as plants are marked with inscriptions in Braille. Changes in the direction of the paths are marked by different treatment of walking surfaces, barriers, mobile structures or scented plants, and the paths are adapted to the movement of visually impaired people.
