Organisation responsible
  • Wavre Indoor Karting

The karting centre has developed a vehicle that can be driven independently by a person in a wheelchair, as it can be controlled by a joystick. The transfer to the kart takes place in a private area, with the help of staff. A second vehicle is a two-seater to enable blind and partially-sighted people to take their place at the wheel and drive a vehicle assisted by a co-driver. In addition to the adapted vehicles, the entire centre offers excellent accessibility, guaranteeing an accessible day out.

The attraction has been awarded its Access-i green label for persons with mobility impairments using a wheelchair and for persons with visual impairments including blind persons. The centre does not have the label for services to deaf persons, since explanations are not available in sign language. The attraction can be booked by families, groups or companies.

Wavre Indoor Karting Access-i certified.
