The Zero Project Conference 2025 (ZeroCon25), organized by the Essl Foundation, is one of the world’s leading platforms for sharing innovative and scalable solutions that advance the rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities.
The Zero Project Website has received Silver certification by WACA, the Austrian Web-Accessibility Certification body. The audit by WACA also covered the Zero Project Database that provides access to 700+ curated solutions to remove barriers for persons with disabilities.
Held annually in Vienna and online, the conference brings together over 1,000 participants from more than 100 countries, including policymakers, innovators, advocates, and organizations of persons with disabilities. ZeroCon25 featured a wide range of topics, from digital accessibility and inclusive education to assistive technologies and employment.
The event highlights award-winning practices and policies selected through a rigorous, global nomination process. By facilitating networking, showcasing replicable models, and promoting knowledge exchange, Zero Project Conferences serve as a catalyst for implementing the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities worldwide.
