Environmental accessibility guidelines for public structures and for premises and public outdoor spaces for architects, engineers, builders, construction managers, building owners, policy-makers and promoters, as well as anyone interested in questions related to the available surrounding environment creation.

The recommendations in the guidelines will ensure the opportunity to create such built environment objects that for everyone, including people with disabilities restrictions, are convenient to use without others assistance or with as little support as possible.

To achieve this, every built environment must provide:

• convenience and safety for all residents,
• equal opportunity to perform all routines life activities for all residents, based on universal design principles.
