Workshop by AccessibleEU to make higher education more accessible and inclusive
The European Accessibility Centre (AccessibleEU) is one of the key initiatives proposed by the European Commission's Strategy on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021-2030.
Applications for the Access City Award competition are open until 18 September 2023. This European award recognises cities which have undertaken outstanding work to become more accessible for persons with disabilities.
Last Tuesday 6th of June, during the World Public Transport Summit held at Fira de Barcelona, AccessibleEU, the new European Accessibility Centre led by Fundacion ONCE, was presented.
The creation of the AccessibleEU centre in 2022, as announced in the European Disability Rights Strategy 2021-2030, should aim at supporting the implementation of accessibility policies across the EU
