AccessibleEU Latvia - Accessibility of cultural and historical objects in Latvia - myths and reality (24-NW-LV-01)

This AccessibleEU networking event aims to initiate networking between various interested parties so that persons with disabilities can fully participate in society's cultural life. 

The event will follow up on the trainings provided to accessibility experts in Latvia in 2023 and 2024 during which the acquired knowledge was used to evaluate cultural and historical objects throughout Latvia. Based on the evaluation results, information will be prepared for posting on the National Cultural Heritage Administration website and other sources, and discussions will be organized for further cooperation with local government representatives and the owners or keepers of these objects.

  • Target audience: Representatives from state and municipal institutions, local government representatives, owners of cultural and historical objects, accessibility experts, persons with disabilities, and society representatives who are interested in the topic.
