SNCF Voyageurs offers different services for persons with disabilities or reduced mobility travelling by train: details on the dimensions of wheelchairs accepted on board, fare reductions for companions, possibilities for assistance dogs, services for the deaf or hard of hearing, equipment on board and in stations, etc.
The company offers accessibility facilities and services both on board and in stations, and has published a guide on how to prepare for a train journey in France with a disability.
4 million train tickets to and from Paris are available over the period of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and nearly 14 million seats over the whole summer. All host cities will also be served by SNCF Voyageurs' long-distance offers in addition to regional trains: Bordeaux, Châteauroux, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice, and Saint-Etienne.
