2024 has been a remarkable year for AccessibleEU that brought with it powerful experiences full of challenges and rewards. It has been a year of growth with several highlights worth mentioning.

The Proceedings of the Seventh International Conference on Universal Design (UD2024) have been turned into a book, which is available for download in PDF format. The book includes a total of 60 scientific papers on universal design in several fields.
Vienna won the 2025 Access City Award for its outstanding efforts to making the city accessible for persons with disabilities. Nuremberg (Germany) and Cartagena (Spain) received the second and third prize respectively.
