Despite being possible to vote, there were accessibility issues that forced blind and partially sighted people to rely on assistance in reading the ballot. Recognizing this issue, the National Elections Committee, in collaboration with the government, implemented new measures to ensure an inclusive voting experience.

A braille matrix is now available for those who need it, guaranteeing a secret vote as mandated by law. Additionally, the option for accompanied voting remains available.

These advancements in accessibility apply to all national and European elections. However, for local elections, accompanied voting is the only accessibility accommodation currently offered, as braille matrices are not yet implemented at that level.
