When a visually impaired customer arrives to a hospital or other place where a self-registration or cueing machine is used, he cannot use the machine because of the touch screen user interface.
Instead, they activate the waiting point smart sound beacon with their own accessible app, and the sound beacon tells the speaker in three languages "you have arrived at our hospital/company, wait here, you will be served in a moment."
When the sound beacon is activated, it activates simultaneous a wireless doorbell in the staff room telling a person is waiting for a service, and the staff picks up the visually impaired person and escort him to the right place without using the self-registration machine.
The system has an option for wheelchair users when the outdoor is too heavy or other way inaccessible. At the outdoor there is a wireless doorbell with an ISA wheelchair symbol. When pressing the doorbell button, the same doorbell activates at the staff room, so that the staff is coming to assist and picks up the person waiting outside.
The Okeenea notification machine consists of the following parts:
- Okeenea Naviqueo HiFi+ sound beacon at the waiting point near the front door.
- Honeywell wireless doorbell in staff room.
- MyMoveo sound beacon activation app on users’ phone or
- EoEvasion remote control for activate the system.
- Honeywell wireless doorbell button outside at the non-accessible door.
