AccessibleEU Luxembourg - Designing accessible events. Understanding the concept ´Design for All´ (WS & MLE-LU-01)

AccessibleEU, with the support of the Ministry of Family, the city of Remerschen/Schengen and the Erliefnis Baggerweier association, organises this workshop on the importance of understanding the concept of Design for All when design accessible events

The project "Baggerweier" in Schengen is an appreciated destination for tourism and leisure activities. During the last years it has increasingly been rented for a variety of events and team building activities. The Erliefnis Baggerweier association pursues the professional integration and reintegration of various audiences, through the development of its infrastructure and its surroundings, while attaching particular importance to the preservation of the natural character of the area.

The aim of this workshop is to present the project AccessibleEU and the value the project provides in terms of expertise, networking, training opportunities and the exchange of good practices. This AccessibleEU event will also show the oppportunities and challenges faced when designing for all and creating accessible events. The symbolic value of Schengen at European level enforces the idea of an “open society accessible to all its members”.
