Art with Disabilities is a digital art exhibition in Sofia adapted for people with disabilities. It tells the stories of the lives of 11 people from around the world with different disabilities, but whose achievements are so significant that they changed the world.
3D projection mapping, neon boxes with portraits and books in Braille and plain text are used and make the exhibition accessible for visitors with visual, hearing and mobility impairments.
The exhibition offers 6 interactive installations based on the compensatory reflex of people with disabilities and how they experience in the world. Each visitor has the opportunity to try to read Braille, to listen to vibration instead of music, to make connections between senses that they have but never use together.
