Could we make accessible local natural assets to people with intellectual disabilities? The positive answer is based on the results of the RURAAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication for Rural Areas) Project, aimed at facilitating inclusive educational activities by trained teams of educators working with adults with intellectual disabilities and educators working in the field of outdoor education and augmentative alternative communication.

Together with the project partners from Italy and Latvia, Paint and Quarter Horse Foundation Bulgaria developed open source training modules for educators on AAC and conducted an AAC transnational training course for educators of adults with intellectual disabilities and educators promoting  inclusive outdoor activities.
