A Course of Communication with People with Hearing Impairments

This guideline is the first in a series of communication courses. The main aim is to introduce the reader to the issue of communication with the deaf and related topics. In the introduction, the material discusses terminology, statistical data and the distribution of hearing impairment in general.

Furthermore, the material deals with the development of legislation not only in the Czech environment. To supplement the material, means of compensating for hearing loss from a technical perspective are also presented. The main part is then devoted to the actual forms of communication and their use in practice.
