Description

The “Guide for evaluating the application of the criteria of non-discrimination on the ground of disability and accessibility in the actions of the co-funded operations” was developed by the National Confederation of Disabled People (NCDP) of Greece in the context of the project “Consultancy services for ensuring compliance of co-funded actions with the requirements of the ESIF (European Structural and Investment Funds) Regulatory Framework on disability”, which was implemented in the framework of the Operational Program “Technical Assistance 2014-2020” and co-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF), the European Regional Development Fund, and the European Cohesion Fund.

Based on the principles and obligations on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, this Guide provides guidelines to the Managing and Implementation Authorities and Intermediary Managing Bodies for the specification, monitoring, and evaluation related to the criteria of non-discrimination on the ground of disability and of accessibility for persons with disabilities in actions and outputs of the EU co-funded projects within the framework of the Operational Programmes 2014-2020.

It offers technical and detailed instructions for identifying cases of discrimination and accessibility gaps in both physical and digital environments, such as infrastructures, services, websites, mobile applications, software, online services and so on. The guide is available digitally in Word and PDF formats. Both formats are fully accessible to persons with disabilities.

The Guide in accessible PDF format (In Greek).
