Projekt e-Pristupačnost - e-Accessibility Project

e-Accessibility is a project whose purpose is twofold and refers to the development of a web platform covering programs for:

1. improvement and training of employees in tourism who come into contact with people with disabilities and
2. training and development of persons with disabilities for work in tourism and catering.

The general goal of the project is to increase the accessibility of tourist facilities to people with disabilities. The e-Accessibility project targets the specific needs of sensitization of employers (in tourism and hospitality) for the needs of people with disabilities and the inclusion of people with disabilities in the tourism and hospitality labor market. The project is planned to achieve the general goal of sensitization of employers and inclusion of persons with disabilities in the labor market in tourism and catering.

The project is expected to have multiple effects on the target groups:

1. Persons with (primarily physical) disabilities – the project will have a long-term effect on this target group of inclusion in social processes, which primarily relate to employment in tourism and hospitality and the establishment of long-term relationships with employers in tourism and hospitality. In this way, the sustainability of tourism and catering for people with (primarily physical) disabilities is created at the same time;
2. Employers in tourism and catering - they will have at their disposal better quality staff trained to work in tourism and catering according to a specially created program for people with (primarily physical) disabilities. The availability of skilled and high-quality personnel will have a positive long-term effect on employers in tourism and hospitality in the Republic of Croatia, as this ensures the sustainability of jobs in tourism and hospitality.
