AccessibleEU Austria - Standardisation, M 587 and the 6 supporting standards for the implementation of the EAA in Austria (25-WS-AT-01)

Standardisation provides Austrian businesses with clear guidance on meeting the requirements of the Accessibility Act and the EAA. It plays a crucial role in ensuring long-term competitiveness, legal certainty, and sustainable management.

This AccessibleEU workshop co-organised with the Austrian Standards Institute aims to present relevant standards and discuss Austria’s implementation in light of national specifics. And inform on the role of AccessibleEU in the implementation of the EAA in the 27 countries in the European Union.

This professional conference features presentations, panel discussions, and workshops, bringing together representatives from government and public institutions, industry and business leaders, standardisation and certification bodies, academia, research, and interest groups, including NGOs, to foster collaboration among stakeholders to drive accessibility forward.
